South Charlotte
South Charlotte is one of the more popular areas to live, work and play. What we locally call south Charlotte, NC is comprised of several neighborhoods and cities all within Mecklenburg County, NC.
Some of the more popular neighborhoods that you might’ve heard of already are South Park, Ballantyne, Carmel Road, Barclay Downs, Beverly Woods, and Quail Hollow to name a few. These are very nice and somewhat prestigious neighborhoods full of great schools, great shopping and very friendly Charlotteans. If you’ve never been here, once you visit South Charlotte…you may not want to leave.
Some of the actual Cities that fall within South Charlotte, NC and Mecklenburg County, NC are place like Ballantyne, Matthews, Mint-Hill and Pineville, NC. Each of the cities has experienced tremendous growth since the late 70’s, but still holds onto their individualism.
