Center City of Charlotte

The Center City of Charlotte is an area that is generally within a 5 mile radius of Uptown/Downtown Charlotte, NC. Many consider the intersection of Trade and Tryon Streets in the Uptown area to be the actual center point of the downtown area. So, from that geographic area, going 5 miles around … we consider that to be the center city of Charlotte.

Within the Center City of Charlotte you will find many cool “in-town” neighborhoods like: Dilworth, Elizabeth, Myers Park, NoDa, Plaza Midwood, Sedgefield, South End and Wesley Heights to name a few.

Each of these neighborhoods has its own flavor which is different than the others. Some of the neighborhoods have more residential homes as compared to others that might have more retail and true apartments vs. the single family homes you would find in Myers Park.
